Michael Lusk is the Director of Finance and Business Management for the McPherson Implementing LRA. In this role Michael has operational responsibility for all accounting and financial functions. This includes the coordination and management of loans, bond issuances, TAD's, and other financial sources of funding. Michael joined the MILRA in 2011.
His career includes over 25 years of accounting and finance experience in diverse industries. Michael began his career as a Systems Accountant with the USDA - Federal Crop Insurance Corp. (Kansas City, MO). He then held several management roles with Kraft Foods, Inc. in their Champaign, IL and Glenview, IL headquarter locations. Michael relocated to the Southeast where he functioned as the Accounting Manager for Southeastern Mills, Inc. (Rome, GA) and as the Corporate Controller for Thomas Concrete, Inc. (Atlanta, GA).
Michael is very active in the community and recently served on the Board of Directors for the Rome/Floyd County YMCA.
Michael attended Howard University and Avila University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Operations Management and Accounting. He received his MBA from Walden University. |
